Not a bad score at all as if you round it off, it’s actually a perfect TEN already. From the looks of that rating, we can say the Mobi is Good TO READ!

I really struggled with this one, but I hope my review is fair. I was clearly disadvantaged in not having read the prequels, so the relationships and scenarios were all new to me and backstories were not provided (this is where Michael Connelly, as an example, excels). Editing issues surfaced early, and continued, with quite a few typos and punctuation errors. And, I must say, I have tired of the in-vogue multiple timelines prop (we have three here, although two dominate).There was probably a reasonable whodunit here, but the delivery was colourless and slow and the characterisations were almost non-existent. There was also too much which was convenient or reliant on coincidence. I note that the author is highly rated, but I didn't see enough here to search for more. 5/10
